South Queens has been a transit desert for too long.

Pesach supports reactivating the Rockaway Beach Branch through QueensLink to bring rail service back and finally connect our communities to the rest of Queens. By using existing infrastructure, this project can deliver faster commutes, better access to jobs, and real economic benefits for the entire district.

• Move the project forward with real timelines

• Ensure the plan reflects community input and local needs

Protecting the Cross Bay Bridge Rebate

For families in this district, the Cross Bay Bridge isn’t optional — it’s part of everyday life.

Pesach will:

• Protect and permanently secure the resident rebate

• Work to codify the program in state law so it can’t be reduced or eliminated

• Ensure stable, long-term funding for the rebate

• Make sure everyone who qualifies can easily access it

Expanding Fair Fares

Transportation costs don’t stop at tolls.

Pesach will support expanding Fair Fares so more working- and middle-class families can qualify for reduced transit fares. Too many people are just above the cutoff and still struggling to afford daily transportation.

He will fight to:

• Raise income eligibility thresholds

• Increase funding to expand access across Queens

• Make enrollment simpler and more accessible
